I'm back...

and back with avengence! My plan for the day was to pound out mileage until my legs couldn't take anymore...pushing the pace, hammering the hills, and keeping the heart rate pegged! I was able to do that for 42 miles before the legs said "enough". I was pleased with the mileage as it was rather windy and I added some serious hill climbs to the ride.

My plan now is to let the legs recover a bit before hammering again on Wednesday.

Peace.

The Pistons are alive!!! Awesome work man. I've been training my forearms for climbing in a similar fashion. Go until I drop. It's paying off big time. Training your body to recover is key. I have a friend who used to be an Olympic Training Center resident and had also hired some NFL and NHL trainer to get him in shape. He always stresses training your body to recover faster. Then you can really hammer out great sessions!

That's awesome Ron!

Are there many places to climb in the Charlotte area?

There is a good amount close by. One local crag called Crowders has some easy and some really hard. Then with a 2 hour drive there is lots more – and of course if you drive 4 hours you have the New River Gorge in WV which is phenomenal!

btw the word verification for this post was "resst" LOL!
